Shrubs, epiphytic or scrambling over rocks ; young shoots hairy. Leaves evergreen, often bullate above, lower surface covered with a relatively thick indumentum, scales distant, small. Inflorescence terminal, 2-3-flowered. Calyx well-developedcalice. Corolla funnel-campanulate or campanulate, stamens 10, regularly arranged or declinate ; ovary densely tomentose, style declinate or sharply deflexed downwards. Seeds winged and finned.
